Northwestern’s High-Performance Computing (HPC) cluster is ideal to run compute-intensive and data-intensive applications.

Northwestern’s University’s high performance computing (HPC) system is called Quest, you can read more about Quest here.

Good to know:

• Connect to Quest using the software MobaXterm Home Edition or FastX .
• The Quest Quick Start Guide provide useful information to get started and find help to common questions and issues when using Quest.
  • The Navigating Quest via Shell youtube video from Northwestern Research Computing Team (they have many more resources!) can help you learn about basic bash commands and moving between directories
• SLURM guide - On the cluster, the SLURM job scheduling system is used
